HELPING THE DISADVANTAGE

In helping the disadvantage, we must have first identify and understand who they are and what their needs are. Then with wisdom assist in any way possible, bearing in mind that you don't need to let the whole world know of your kind act or expect gratitude in return. Just see a need, fill a need!

I agree with you on helping the disadvantaged. However the general Nigerian idea is to give them money and leave them in the same state they were before. My idea is to communicate the fact that they don't have to be disadvantaged for life. They can come out of it and help meet the needs of others

Last week, the parents of our 1month old patient ran away back to Taraba and left the boy in JUTH after learning the extent of their bill and that the boy would require 2 more surgeries.
Some of the disadvantaged have impoverished minds. How can having children be less expensive than family planning?
I'll say be careful who you "help".
For instance, why assist educationally someone who cant get up to 200 in JAMB?
